It’s supposed to snow today but I’m still daydreaming about warmer weather.

With higher temperatures comes shoes in brighter hues. This season’s trends are flirty, including shorter heels and pointed toes. If you aren’t a fan of 5 inch heels like these Aldo wedges, then you can opt for gladiator sandals. These Converse sneakers will add a bit of fun to your wardrobe.

You’ll be seeing stripes this spring. The preppy print is here to stay and a sundress is the perfect way to keep on trend.

I love this Kate Spade Mariella dress but I don’t have the $448 to spend on it.

You can snatch up this Dorothy Perkins dress for only $29 or purchase the Joe Fresh option for only $39. Top Shop’s dress is at the higher end of the budget at $76, but it’s structured cut makes it work appropriate.

Spring fever is kicking in which for me usually translates to redecorating. Having a studio means my options are small and consist mainly of rearranging furniture. The upside is that this is the cheapest way to give your place a facelift. I looked for inspiration for studio apartments and these few caught my eye.

Lofty Ambitions

Building a loft bed in my basement apartment with it’s seven foot ceilings isn’t possible, but I can appreciate the sparseness of this studio. The apartment feels spacious with only a few choice pieces of furniture.

A Splash of Turquoise

The curtains separate the living room from the bedroom, but the sheer material still allows light to filter in. The accent wall brings a pop of color but doesn’t overwhelm in such a small space. While my studio is probably not long enough to separate using curtains, it’s perfect for longer, railroad-style apartments.

Eclectic Touches

Own a lot of stuff? Yeah, me too. This apartment illustrates how to fit your many belongings into a small space. It manages to maintain an eclectic vibe though every item has been placed specifically with space in mind.

Whitewashed

I like my world awash in color, but this white palette makes the small space sleek. A few hints of color (in red and black) create a sophisticated, classic Hollywood feel.

After all day in work attire, all I dream about is comfy jeans and flats. This ensemble is the perfect transition outfit from winter to spring. The leather jacket is cozy enough for those chillier days while the hat will protect your hair from being windswept. Make a statement and combine edgy pieces with feminine items (see: skull printed scarf and kelly green satchel). Pops of red with darker shades draw the eye, such as the ALDO Hodell flats.

Where would you choose to wear this outfit? I’m imagining wearing it to brunch with friends and then to take in a matinee at my favorite locally-owned theater.
