I don’t know about you, but I LOVE makeup. When I was younger, I used to put on makeup on Saturday mornings to practice so I’d look wonderful for all those middle school boys. One makeup trend I’ve noticed this summer is bright eyes. At least, that’s what I’m calling it.
Stars are popping up everywhere with brightly colored eye makeup. My favorite shade? Red. Gone are the days where we worry about red eyeshadow making our eyes look bloodshot or tired. This look is totally eye-catching if you do it right. Pair it with a bright red dress and make sure you’re at the right a event.

If I had to guess, I’d say the trick here is using a darker red eyeliner so the eye looks almost smokey.

This is the best photo I could find of J.Lo. But if you all watch the show, then I hope you caught the bright-eyes look. It seems that J.Lo used a brighter red eyeshadow so her eyes didn’t have the smokey look like Taylor’s. Still lovely!

HP is cutting 27000 jobs by the end of 2014. Their sales have been down and they’re assuming that if they cut workers, they can reinvest their money into their products. They project a $3.5 billion savings each year after this is done. Since the iPad, HP has seen a decrease in sales. (
